For most criminal and traffic charges in North Carolina, the law requires that you be present with your attorney in court. Be sure to ask your attorney when you call us if you have to be present in court.
Once you have a criminal conviction on your record, it is visible to employers and others who have access to your background check. North Carolina has numerous statutory provisions for the expunction of certain criminal convictions, so that they can be entirely erased from your record and not follow you throughout your lifetime on your criminal record. Be sure to ask our experienced criminal law attorneys to see if it is possible to have your criminal conviction expunged from your record.
